Carpal Tunnel

Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a common condition characterized by pain, numbness, tingling, and weakness in the hand and wrist due to compression of the median nerve as it passes through the carpal tunnel—a narrow passageway in the wrist. CTS can result from various factors such as repetitive hand movements, wrist injuries, pregnancy, or underlying health conditions. Chiropractic care offers a non-invasive and holistic approach to managing carpal tunnel syndrome by addressing underlying musculoskeletal imbalances, reducing nerve irritation, and promoting wrist and hand health.

Symptoms:

  • Pain or discomfort in the hand, wrist, or forearm
  • Numbness or tingling sensations, often in the thumb, index, middle, or ring fingers
  • Weakness or difficulty gripping objects
  • Radiating pain or discomfort that may travel up the arm
  • Symptoms often worsen at night or with repetitive hand movements
